Module 1: Brief Yourself
Over the years I’ve found that clients have such a hard time articulating what they want. I’ve also realized they rarely know what they need. In this first module, I set up a series of provocations that help you to properly define your brief.
Module 2: Your Master Floor Plan
This module begins with measuring the current space, conducting a photo study, and crafting a practical floor plan. We’ll delve into mapping “The 4 Zones” for optimal efficiency and finalize by incorporating “The Extras”.
Module 3: Window Shopping
This module emphasizes careful consideration and evaluation before making any purchases. We guide you through the process of assessing your preferences against the practicality of items for your space, ensuring thoughtful product selection.
Module 4: Detailed Planning of Your Kitchen
We’ll triple – check your selections by placing them in the floor plan, zone by zone, to ensure a perfect fit. You’ll end up with a practical and customised floor plan to your home.
Module 5: Moodboard
Now you can think about the dreamy imagery! In this module I will show you how to create a thorough and helpful moodboard.
Module 6: Create the Look and Feel – A Finishes Schedule
With your detailed moodboard, we will now pick and choose the elements we want to move forward with and help you fill out your finishes schedule. Your Finishes Schedule is a critical document to help you communicate your wishes to your builder.
Module 7: Let there be light
Now with your kitchen almost finalised, we place our task and mood lighting.
Module 8: Assemble and Finalise your Documents
Here I will teach you what is critical to know about dimensioning and we will wrap up in a way that will make it super easy for your builder to understand.
Module 9: Launch Your Project
Finding the right team can always be a challenge. In this module we take you through our checklist when vetting contractors.
Module 10: Bathe in the Glow
Take the photos, enjoy your space.
If you follow this process meticulously, any issue with your design will reveal itself at appoint where you are able to fix it before it’s loo late or too costly.
Many of the principles are both common sense and yet feel counter intuitive, but just trust me. You’ll see why.

Is the program suitable for me if I have a small kitchen?
We cover all the typical kitchen types. With small kitchens, the principles are the same as for big kitchens except with big kitchens you have a lot more leeway to be inefficient! Small kitchens are less forgiving but can work brilliantly if you get it right.

Absolutely! Our program is designed to be global – one of the benefits of online education! We provide all templates in metric and imperial measurement systems and the lessons are all pre-recorded so that you can make your way through the steps in a self-paced manner.
